Premium quality grade A Sri Lanka Vanilla beans/Pods (6~8″)

fleshy vanilla beans

Product Description

GRADE: Premium Vanilla Beans – Pods Grade A

This is our premium range of vanilla beans and pods grade A from Sri Lanka, and premium vanilla beans are 15+ cm (68 inches) long. This Vanilla grade is excellent for flavoring, baking, cooking, and other culinary uses.

Furthermore, we use our well-trained team to select premium quality beans from our production. Also, premium vanilla beans have more weight compared to other vanilla grades.

Fresh Gourmet premium vanilla beans are from our own estates. The length of the grade A beans is over 6 inches to 9 inches (approximately over 15-20 cm) with an average moisture content of 25%, meaning these beans are soft, pliable, and filled with millions of tiny vanilla seeds.

Furthermore, Sri Lanka bourbon beans have a rich and creamy flavor along with an intense heavenly aroma. Also, our triple inspection process ensures only the highest quality beans are sent out by checking the size, smell, aroma, and appearance before packaging in our commercial vacuum sealers.

Because of the high cost of labor involved in cultivation, vanilla is one of the most expensive spices in Sri Lanka. Furthermore, the vanilla plant is grown in the hill country and under wet weather conditions in Sri Lanka.

We identify the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Matale, and Kegalle districts as the best vanilla-growing areas in Sri Lanka.

At Acril Tea, we supply certified organic vanilla beans (USDA, EU, and JAS) and conventional vanilla beans in Sri Lanka. However, we never use artificial fertilizers in our vanilla estates, and it is not necessary to grow a vanilla plant.

How to identify good quality vanilla beans/Pods

  1. Check the vanilla smell – sweet, creamy, and aromatic.
  1. Dark brown or black in color; soft, shiny, oily surface on the beans; flexible
  1. It should be easy to roll between your two fingers; you should be able to tie a knot without breaking the bean. If it breaks, that’s because the bean is too dry. Do the test and select the best beans!

We take great pride in being able to offer such wonderful, hand-cured premium-quality beans in Sri Lanka.
