St. John’s Wort Oil that you will find at Herbstore.gr is 100% pure and processed with green St. John’s wort, while in the above mentioned packages it is very practical as well as very economical.
St. John’s Wort Oil, like all base oils we make, is made with extra virgin olive oil which is processed with our herbs, which are in green form. Research has shown that when base oils are made with green herbs (like ours) they give 100% of the properties they can give, unlike commercial oils made with dried herbs and give only 50%!
St. John’s Wort Oil has been known since antiquity as the oil used by Spartan soldiers to heal their wounds. Contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D, proteins and trace elements. For the preparation of the oil, green Hypericum flowers were used in a complete stage of flowering by immersing them in extra virgin olive oil. The cold-pressed oil was exposed to sunlight in order to mature in a completely natural way and acquire a bright red color.
St. John’s Wort Oil is extremely effective for sciatica and any rheumatic pain, while it helps a lot in joint pains and dropsy. Relieves and heals immediately: wounds, bumps, bruises, sprains, burns, varicose veins, inflammations, irritations, itching, insect bites, skin diseases, cracks in the heels and elbows, hemorrhoids, rheumatism, arthritis.
It is also for cramps, cricks, chills, neuralgia and headaches. With St. John’s Wort Oil, we apply smears or light abrasions to the sore spot or we can even apply local patches with impregnated gauze. Also, in problems such as hemorrhoids, stomach ulcers and constipation (in which it has spectacular results) its use is made by drinking a tablespoon of spatula oil every night on an empty stomach, as it is ideal for any therapeutic or relaxing massage.
St. John’s Wort Oil is used either alone or in combination with other base oils for even better results. Finally, it is important to know that base oils are essential in aromatherapy in order to be the “carrier” to which the essential oils will be added.
