Ceylon Orange Pekoe Black Tea (OP) is one of the highest and top-selling tea grades in the market. OP black tea features dark long leaves without tips, similar to OPA black tea. It means OP Black Tea stands for Full Leaf Black Tea.
With or without milk, Orange Pekoe loose leaf tea gives a rich and full-bodied liquor without any bitterness. As well as the top-selling tea grade, this tea grade is produced in every tea factory in Sri Lanka. But, the tea leaf sizes differ according to tea growing areas.
The best quality orange Pekoe Black Tea (OP) grade comes from the low-grown tea area in Sri Lanka. In addition, high-grown tea-growing areas in Sri Lanka produce a medium-wiery type of Orange Pekoe tea.
