If the flowers of the Bitter Orange tree, also known as Bigarade Orange, are used to produce the Neroli essential oil, the leaves and young stems give the Petitgrain Bigarade essential oil. Bigarade Tree has evergreen, alternate, elliptical and leathery leaves of a very bright, bright green.
