Magnificent spikenard, an aromatic flowering plant is found in the mountain belt of Nepal at an elevation of 3000m to 5000m and extracted oil is highly fragrant from the steam-distilled rhizome of the spikenard plant. This essential oil has a sweet, woody, spicy aroma that some say resembles valerian however, the dry down is softer with more delicate woody and earthy nuisances.
