Report on the status of business development for Ayurveda brand in the Japanese market

In late March of this year, we announced that we have begun market development support in the Japanese market for one of HerbaromaTrade members who is selling the products related to Arurveda.

(The announcement article is below.)

It has been about two months since our announcement in March and we would like to report on the latest status of business development.

We hope that would be useful for companies planning to tap into Japanese market in the near future.

(Sales channel development status as of Friday, May 17th)

-Contract signed with a major Japanese gift mail order EC site

-Contract signed with a healing goods specialty EC site

– Contract signed with Herbal shop in Rakuten (Japanese major EC site)

– Contract signed with Cosmetics shop in Amazon Japan

– Contract signed with a Yoga studio in Okinawa

– Contract signed with a store specializing in natural cosmetics in Gifu Prefecture

– Contract signed with a holistic care salon in Ginza, Tokyo

– Contract signed with an Ayurvedic salon in Osaka

As you can see from the fact that many of Louis Vuitton’s top sales customers are Japanese, Japanese people are very sensitive to foreign brands.

We will also initiate developing sales channels in the Japanese market for a British cosmetics brand soon.

We will report on the status of this biz development around this August.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you!
