Product Description
Cedarwood (Cedrus deodara) also locally called as Deodara belongs to the family of Prinaceae. It is an evergreen coniferous tree of about 40m height. It is found throughout Nepal especially at the altitude of 1100 – 2900 meter. Cedarwood oil extracted by steam distillation of the needles and twigs, wood, stumps and sawdust.
Its harvesting season is from March to July.

Uses
It can be used to soothe asthma, coughing, congestion, a buildup of phlegm, and other respiratory discomforts that make it difficult to breathe easily.

In cosmetics and perfumery : Fragrance component and fixative in cosmetics, household products (soaps, detergents, etc.) as well as in perfumes.
