Perched on a plateau overlooking the Haut Verdon valley, the village of Argens has a historical tradition of picking, then growing true lavender. Somewhat forgotten, this activity finds a new impetus thanks to Véronique Peltzer, a farmer passionate about the benefits of perfumed, aromatic and medicinal plants. In 2002, the Parisian a little too green for Paris, moved to the village of Argens, in the heart of the mountains of Haute-Provence, to build a little more than an ideal life: to live in the land of lavender. and preserve a hitherto intact environment. At an altitude of 1400 meters, it cultivates, harvests and distils Fine Lavender by perpetuating the tradition: the plants are produced on the farm in the open fields and the essential oil is distilled on site and analyzed. Proof of quality: the essential oil of Bleu d'Argens benefited from the Protected Designation of Origin "Lavender Fine from Haute Provence" until the fire which destroyed the distillery in 2020. Véronique practices reasoned and extensive agriculture, without insecticides, which gives her oil an unprecedented quality. With a background in aromatherapy, Véronique has created a wide range of 100% natural cosmetic products for you. In addition to being free of preservatives, chemical additives, synthetic ingredients, artificial colors and fragrances, most of the ingredients in Bleu d'Argens products come from organic farming.
