Thé Paon is pronounced “teh pon” and literally means “peacock tea” – a reference to the vivid blue colour of our butterfly pea teas. Throughout history the peacock (“le paon” in French) has been a symbol of royalty and immortality across many cultures. But what do we associate with the concept of ‘immortality’ today? Two things spring to mind: being remembered for a positive contribution to humanity, and living a long and happy life.
