Hi, I’m Jennifer. I launched DefineMe in 2015 with a mission to create meaningful fragrances to support the mind, body, and spirit. There is such a powerful connection between scent and emotional well-being — and there’s actual science behind it! Studies have shown a strong connection between scent and emotion, and I wanted to use the power of fragrance to evoke an empowering response to affect people’s lives. The idea of defining yourself in a positive way was how the name DefineMe was born. With a design career spanning 15 years, and a supernatural sense of smell, I set out to create the first of its kind: clean, natural, modern fragrances with built-in positive self-identities. This became our Butterfly series, a collection of seven award-winning natural perfumes available in a variety of products. We have since launched a metaphysical-inspired Crystal Infused series of natural fragrances with deep meaning, real living crystals, award-winning Mood Prism scent diffusers, and more (coming soon)! My mission to create positive change through fragrance doesn’t end with our fragrance collection. Our co-mission is to empower economically-disadvantaged young women around the world by providing them with the means to get educated. To accomplish this, we’ve partnered with She’s The First, a non-profit organization that facilitates educational scholarships for young women in developing countries. For every DefineMe product purchased, $1 goes directly towards She’s The First educational scholarships. DefineMe is celebrating its seventh birthday in 2022, a milestone we couldn’t have achieved without the support of our loyal customers. Our team is incredibly grateful to all who’ve joined us on this empowering journey.
