AICAL is the Association for the Protection and Enhancement of Typical Food in Calabria, operating since 2004. There are multiple and differentiated actions in every field for products and services that represent regional culture and tradition. With the San Antonio section we deal with nutraceuticals with research dedicated to the identification and optimization of the active ingredients of Mediterranean and especially Calabrian foods and herbs. The AICAL Association produces Bergastatin, a research product from bergamot. AICAL uses associated producers and a unique specification for the production of Bergastatin.
